Brief Description:
The workshop on Environmental Sustainability and Essential Needs is one of four workshops that will be held on Oct. 1st, 2024, as pre-Forum activities at KFUPM, intended to roll out the new KFUPM Research Strategy that has been developed during the past months. Particularly, this workshop will be addressing the KFUPM agenda related to four keys areas including Innovative Water Research, Net Zero Emissions, Reuse of Materials and Products in Industry, as well as Biodiversity. During the workshop, Campus Champions will be presenting their grand challenges and innovation goals, and explaining the complexity and efficiency of the research roadmaps. After each Mission presentation, it will be time for the invited National stakeholders to discuss, recommend and support the Mission activities.
